Home to Unique Coastal Features

Not only can Cornwall’s beaches be admired for their sandy shores and awe-inspiring waves, but you can also expect to see plenty of fascinating coastal features along many Cornish beaches. Eroded cliffs, arches and sea caves make for some great holiday snaps!

One of the most famous features is the Trevone Roundhole, a blowhole in the middle of a headland in Trevone Bay. Waves enter the corresponding sea cave, and the pressure means that air and spray are released through the blowhole, causing an impressive crater in the top of the cliff.
