Easter is upon us and we’re pleased to announce that while you’re visiting us here at our dog-friendly holiday cottages there’s a simply fantastic festival you don’t want to miss out on with the return of Truro’s very own art, culture and music festival.
Drawing inspiration from, and created by the artistic endeavour of people from within and around Truro, the festival is absolutely jam-packed full of exciting and interesting events that are sure to entertain and entice visitors like never before!
Taking place from 27 March – 05 April, you’ll be treated a whole host of displayed and performances of music, dance, comedy, art, theatre, film, literature, and lots more as the festival brings together a feast of performances and display brimming from all corners of the city throughout the course of the 10 day festival.
Along with the return of intimate theatre performances, there’s set to be live music and art exhibitions to enjoy too. 2015 will also welcome brand new events and partnerships to the line-up, so make sure you don’t miss out!
The hub of activity will be in the ‘festival village’ on Lemon Quay, complete with yurts hosting a range of performances, street art, workshops, talks as well as a relaxed place to just hang-out and soak up the atmosphere with all the family.
Many venues will also be playing host to a variety of events, with daytime activities focused at family entertainment while evening events offering anything from ‘women only’ to stand-up comedy.
The festival will launch with a special event in partnership with Totally Truro and Hall for Cornwall.
And don’t forget, this event is dog-friendly too, so you need not worry about leaving your four-legged friend behind while you’re out having fun!
