Easter is an amazing time to spend in Cornwall, as there is so much to do! We take a look at some of the family-friendly activities that will be taking place throughout Cornwall over the Easter holiday.

 

Easter at Eden, 5th – 20th April 2025

Starting on the 5th April, the Eden Project will be hosting a three-week Easter holiday eggstravaganza, with a range of egg-citing activities perfect for all of the family! It wouldn’t be Easter without the holiday essential of an egg hunt, so go on the lookout for the special eggs hidden throughout the gardens. Collect all the stamps along the nature trail to claim a sweet treat, and enter the competition to be in with a chance of winning an extra special Easter hamper! This year, Eden will be bursting with vibrant wildflower artwork from Graphic Rewilding to bring some extra colour and excitement to the gardens!

 

The Cornish Caretakers and the Treasures of Cornishness at the National Maritime Museum, 5th – 21st April 2025

This Easter, join the Cornish Caretakers for their hilarious show ‘The Cornish Caretakers and the Treasures of Cornishness’. The show brings Cornish history to life and will be on daily at 11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm. The National Maritime Museum Cornwall is an excellent family day out, with 5 floors of seaside history, culture and boat galleries. For Easter, there will be a Museum Trail for families to follow, as well as Make & Take workshops.

Easter Adventure Quest at Pendennis Castle, 5th – 27th April 2025

Brave adventurers are being called upon to help join a quest at Pendennis Castle this Easter holiday. If you accept the quest, you’ll be off following clues, meeting some exciting characters and maybe even finding a chocolatey reward! You can take on the quest every day of the school holidays, and it costs just £2 to take part.

 

Easter Weekend at Lappa Valley, 18th – 21st April 2025

Celebrate Easter at Lappa Valley, with plenty of fun including an Easter Egg Hunt and their famous Duck Races! Lappa Valley offers fun train and boat rides, as well as having plenty of outdoor spaces and indoor play areas to enjoy.

 

Paradise Park Easter Golden Egg Challenge, 5th – 21st April 2025

Paradise Park is a family-run wildlife sanctuary that is home to an impressive collection of birds, including penguins, parrots and eagles, as well as red pandas, cute otters, red squirrels and mini donkeys. In addition to their daily talks, bird shows and feeding experiences, Paradise Park has an exciting challenge this Easter. Treat your family to a cracking time on the Easter Golden Egg Challenge around Paradise Park, and when you have completed the quiz claim your yummy chocolate reward!

National Trust Easter Egg Hunts in Cornwall 2025

The National Trust have plenty of properties to explore in Cornwall, each with an egg-citing egg hunt on offer this Easter!

 

Easter Egg Hunt at Godolphin, 5th – 27th April 2025

Godolphin is a medieval garden and historic house in Helston, Cornwall. This Easter, there is a fun family trail to explore the beautiful gardens and discover some exciting Easter treats. You can also explore and take part in 10 different bird-themed activities dotted around the garden.

Easter trail prices are £3.50 per trail (normal admission price apply in addition) which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.

 

Easter Adventures at Glendurgan Garden, 5th – 21st April 2025 (excluding Monday 7th and 14th April)

Glendurgan Garden is a fun family day out already, with their iconic cherry laurel maze. But this Easter you can also follow the Easter Adventures trail map and uncover the hidden wonders of wildflowers nestled throughout the garden. With fun activities for the whole family and a delicious treat waiting at the end, it’s the perfect way to celebrate spring in nature.

 

Easter Egg Hunt at Trelissick, 5th – 21st April 2025

Trelissick is a beautiful house and garden near Truro that has stunning views of the Fal Estuary and lovely woodland walks. For Easter, you can explore the estate with their family trail and enjoy activities for the whole family. Prices are £3.50 per trail (normal admission price apply in addition) which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.

 

Easter Egg Hunt at Lanhydrock, 5th – 21st April 2025

Lanhydrock is a stunning late Victorian country house and estate. The Easter Trail offers activities for the whole family and allows you to explore the beautiful gardens.

Prices are £3.50 per trail (normal admission price apply in addition) which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.
