Lovers of all things action and adventure, Adrenaline Quarry is one of Cornwall’s most popular locations for heart-racing activities! It’s most famous for “throwing people off cliffs” with its zip wire and giant swing that attract adrenaline junkies from all over.

 

If you’re not as big a fan of heights, there are plenty of other exciting things to do here. An aquapark, karting track and axe throwing are just some of the fun outdoor activities you can get up to here.

Cornwall’s biggest theme park, Camel Creek is a great destination for those seeking the classic park experience. With over 40 attractions ranging from play areas to high-octane rides and animal enclosures, it’s easy to spend a whole day enjoying this place.

 

Camel Creek is incredibly family-friendly, with most attractions aimed at young kids (and those young at heart). Whether you want to test your nerves on a big water slide or come out on top in a game of adventure golf, you’ll have a wonderful time visiting Camel Creek.

Hidden Valley Puzzle Park

A wonderful little gem for curious minds. The Hidden Valley Puzzle Park is a picturesque location filled to bursting with all manner of games, puzzles and challenges for families to enjoy.

 

Puzzle trails, the maze and the forbidden mansion are chock full of mind-bending tests, with some for little ones and more challenging mysteries for older children.

 

Adults will love the illusions, such as the upside-down room and Ames Room which make for great photo opportunities. There’s also an escape room on-site as well as relaxing gardens.

Kernow Adventure Park

A charming little adventure park nestled in the heart of Cornwall. Located in Kessel Quarry and surrounded by stunning granite walls, this natural water park offers something different from the wavy coasts for which Cornwall is famous.

 

For active souls, the aquapark is full of opportunities to bounce, slide and jump as you go around the Wipeout-style course. Adults will love the peaceful open-water swimming and stand-up paddleboarding activities, while there are also e-boats for exploring the beauty and history of the lake.

The Eden Project

Arguably Cornwall’s most famous attraction. While the Eden Project might not strike you as an adventure park, there’s actually plenty here to keep families active and entertained.

 

Playgrounds and play spaces are perfect for little ones to burn off their energy, while interactive experiences like the Tunnel of Love (for the Planet) are a fun way for children to get curious about the natural world. Adventure trails including stunning artworks also provide lots of fun for families.

 

A zip wire experience is available at Eden Project, although do note that this needs to be booked separately from an Eden ticket.

Ferdi’s Indoor Play

If you’re looking for a spot of fun for your little ones, make the trip to Ferdi’s. A simple indoor activity area designed specifically for young children and their parents, this is a safe and enjoyable space for kids to run around and for parents to relax.

 

Ferdi’s play areas have plenty to keep little ones entertained, with specific spaces for toddlers and a Mini Street for children to play vets, shopkeepers and more. Seating areas and cafes are specifically designed to give parents spaces to relax while watching their children running around and having fun.

Springfield Fun Park

A hit with families, Springfield Fun Park and Pony Centre is a charming location with lots of activities to keep young ones entertained.

 

Springfield was once a farm and is still filled with exciting animal enclosures, perfect for those who love nature. Ducks, chickens, goats and fish can all be fed, while there are also goats, pigs, alpacas and llamas on site. Children can even enjoy pony and tractor rides.

 

Beyond the animals, there’s also go-karting, rowboats, crazy golf and more, making for a wonderful family day out.

Trethorne Leisure Park

An old-school park that offers something for everyone and is particularly popular with young families.

 

Trethorne boasts large indoor and outdoor play areas with plenty to keep young children entertained. The Animal Barn also allows children to meet and pet rabbits and other cuddly animals.

 

The park also boasts plenty of games for older kids and adults, including an amusements and arcade. There is also bowling and dodgems available for an extra fee.

Via Ferrata Cornwall

Another fantastic location for adrenaline junkies. Via Ferrata, named after a style of climbing route, is a location filled with climbing and high-wire adventures for both experienced and new adventurers.

 

Everything at Via Ferrata is designed with safety and comfort at the forefront. Their harnesses are designed so you’re always locked in and staff provide training sessions, meaning even nervous climbers can have fun and conquer their fears.

 

For those seeking a thrill, the 1.5-hour Zip Wire Safari allows you to fly around to your heart’s content. Walking trails and a cafe overlooking the cliffs mean young children and people who don’t want to climb can also enjoy a day out.
