You can enjoy a surf with some seals around Newquay’s Towan beach or if you head further south you will see whales, dolphins and porpoises swimming around the Lizards many headlands.

In the last few weeks alone there have been multiple sightings of humpback whales around West Penwith, with more sighted at the picturesque harbour village of Mousehole and Gwennap head.

These majestic animals are a sight to behold and you too can marvel at their beauty when staying at our luxurious holiday accommodation in Cornwall.

Make the most of your holiday in Cornwall and head to one of the many heritage sights along our fantastic coastline, pack up a picnic and grab your binoculars and see if you can spot one of these majestic mammals yourself!

Just remember Cornwall Wildlife Trust asks anyone who spots the mammals, or any other interesting sea creatures, to send marine sightings to [email protected] as part of the Seaquest Southwest Citizen Science recording project.
