Mrs B’s, Hayle
This establishment is one to head to try a host of weird and delicious flavours. Some of our favourites include Turkish delight, brown bread and marmalade, key lime pie and the exquisite caramel cinnamon waffle.
Treleavens, Cornwall
Treleavens uses traditional methods to produce their famous ice cream as well as locally sourced ingredients such as milk from Trewithen Dairy near Lostwithiel as well as Tamar Fruits for the berries used to churn into their fruit based ice creams. Famous flavours to try include After Eight, gooseberry fool, and classic Cornish vanilla.
Jelberts, Newlyn
This is probably the closest thing you will get to home-made ice cream. It’s basic, but delicious, you will find one ice cream cone and two choices; clotted cream on top, with or without a flake. But that’s all it needs, this vanilla ice cream will be the best you have ever had.
Moomaid of Zennor, Tremedda Farm
The ice cream here rivals anything you would find in Italy. With a massive range of 30 creative and delicious flavours from pink champagne to chocolate sorbet, orange and mascarpone, lychee sorbet, pistachio and honey and honeycomb, you have to visit this place on your holiday in Cornwall.
